HGV Class 2 Driver

We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our friendly team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting furniture over short or long distances while operating a commercial vehicle., Drive trucks with a capacity of up to 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
- Transport and deliver furniture to various locations.
- Safe manual handling of goods on and off the vehicle.
- Follow all safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper maintenance of the truck.
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.

Proven experience as a truck driver.
- Commercial driving experience is preferred.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous., Good communication skills.
- Class 2 clean HGV licence with at least 2 years experience.
- Digital tachograph card and CPC qualification.
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
