- Our Health Care Professionals care for the complex day to day needs of our much loved residents within our homes.
- Assisting our residents with their personal care whilst maintaining dignity and respect.
- Encouraging and supporting food and drink intake.
- Seeing each resident as an individual and adapting yourself to them.
- Being a friend to the residents; being there to listen to them, support them and enable them to live the life they want to live.
- Helping our residents to engage in activities.
- Updating and maintaining our resident's records.
- Communicating with family members as well as other health care professionals.
To be kind and compassionate with a positive can do attitude. Assisting our vulnerable residents should be a natural instinct. - To have the ability to work independently and part of a team.

- The Blue Light card which gives national discounts of every day items such as clothing and groceries., The job involves working within one of our nursing homes in Barrow in Furness or at Aldingham and St Cuthberts Nursing Home at Aldingham-own transport is essential for travelling to Aldingham.
- Rotational Day Positions - Hours are 37.5 a week set on a rota and usually involve 3 long shifts per week 7.45am-9pm but some night cover is required for holidays and sickness.
- Permanent Night Positions - Hours are 8.45pm - 8am on a 7 nights on, 7 nights off basis (Monday - Sunday) or 4 nights on and 4 nights off at our Aldingham Home.
