Head of Quality

Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust quality assurance processes, systems, and procedures to optimise product quality. This role requires a wide skill set including managing direct reports, coaching, motivating, and influencing other functions including Sales, Manufacturing, Technical and finance.

You will additionally be responsible for:

• Leading a team of professionals (Quality, QC and process engineer), providing guidance, support, and training.


• Driving forward continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operations.


• Leading efforts to reduce customer complaints and enhance customer satisfaction.


• Conducting regular audits and inspections.
  
  Degree qualified in Chemistry, engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.


• Proven experience in a senior quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment.


• Extensive line management and strong leadership skills, with ability to inspire and motivate a team.


• Strong background in both GMP and REACH.


• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards applicable to PVC compounding manufacturing (beneficial).
