Situated in the heart of the Chiltern Hills in the beautiful village of Great Missenden in Buckinghamshire, Gateway School is a co-educational, independent day school for children aged two to eleven, rated 'excellent' in all areas by ISI. Gateway School now seeks to appoint an inspiring Head with a proven track record of leading effectively in a school with high educational standards and a strong sense of community. The school welcomes applications from outstanding school leaders including Assistant and Deputy Heads from the state primary and independent prep sectors, as well as international educators seeking a return to the UK.

The preferred candidate will be a strategically minded and outward-facing leader, able win the trust and confidence of the whole school community. They will bring a commitment to rigorous educational standards, an understanding of the 11+ transfer into leading senior schools and a commitment to working collaboratively as part of a schools
