Growth Deal Projects & Performance Manager

We are looking to appoint a Growth Deal Projects & Performance Manager to join our Portfolio Management Office (PoMO).

This is a crucial role in helping to provide support to the 9 Independent Projects \xe2\x80\x93 working with them to develop and deliver major capital projects as part of the Growth Deal.

On a day to basis you will be:

• Working as part of the Growing Mid Wales Portfolio Management Office, supporting the timely and effective delivery of the \xc2\xa3110m Mid Wales Growth Deal.


• Providing senior leadership and project management of the stand-alone projects and to support the Operations Manager to manage performance of the overall MWGD Portfolio.


• Using communication, negotiation and influencing skills to engage a range of senior internal and external stakeholders to enable the effective development and delivery of projects as agreed by senior management.


• Working as a member of a cohesive team and, when required, to take lead responsibility for issues outside their immediate sphere of responsibility.

The Mid Wales Growth Deal (MWGD) is now moving to its delivery phase, with funding coming in from the Welsh and UK Government to begin delivering a Portfolio of investment that will help grow the economy of Mid Wales. Utilising Government funding of \xc2\xa3110m, the two Programmes and nine Projects within the Growth Deal look to achieve a total investment of \xc2\xa3400m+ to have a lasting impact and legacy in the region.
