Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of the Alma Tavern. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the business, including food production, customer service, and team management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry, with a focus on food safety and culinary excellence., Oversee daily operations, including food production, service, and cleanliness
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Manage and motivate a team of employees, including hiring, training, and rotas
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Maintain positive working relationships with customers, the local community and suppliers
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members and ensure that staff are meeting weekly, monthly and quarterly sales targets

Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is required
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Culinary background or experience in bartending is ESSENTIAL
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail,
