Full Job Description

  • Pharmacy Technician Qualification as recognised by the GPhC

  • Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC

  • Commitment to CPD

  • Car driver or otherwise independently nmobile, Experience of working as a pharmacy tech within a pharmacy dispensary

  • Knowledge of efficient stock control

  • understanding of medicines management practices, Basic IT skills

  • Understanding the fundamental functions of a pharmacy computer


    • Desirable criteria

    Working knowledge of JAC (the pharmacy computer system),
  • Team player

  • Methodical, accurate worker

  • self motivated

  • good communication skills - oral and written


    • Desirable criteria

    Interest in mental health, Able to travel using own vehicle on Trust business subject to the provisions of the Disability Discrimination Act,
  • Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English to a standard which enables the post holder to carry out the full range of duties and responsibilities of the role effectively
