Full Job Description

The Group Finance Team are responsible for the delivery of high standards of various financial reporting information, mainly for external reporting purposes, but also to support RELX's performance management and decision support., As a Group Reporting Accountant at RELX, you will ensure high-quality financial reporting and support performance management. You'll assist with technical accounting issues, implement new standards, and handle quarterly reporting consolidation.,

  • Assisting with technical accounting queries, implementation of new accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements

  • Supporting the preparation and review of information for annual and interim external reporting

  • Assisting in the preparation and analysis of quarterly consolidation processes

  • Facilitating and overseeing change in RELX HFM consolidation applications (Oracle)

  • Preparing and reviewing annual UK & Dutch head office statutory financial statements

  • Liaising with auditors to support completion of interim and year-end group and statutory reporting

    Be a full qualified accountant: ACA/ICAS or an equivalent credential

  • Possess advanced Excel skills including vlookups/xlookups, pivot tables, etc.

  • Have proven accounting experience, ideally with a Big Four accounting firm

  • Be highly organized with the ability to multi-task and re-prioritise workload

  • Demonstrate good technical knowledge of IFRS

  • Show experience in working with UK/US listed complex multi-national companies

  • Possess excellent financial technical and analytical skills

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Be able to build relationships with internal stakeholders.
