The role - Finance Business Partner Capital and Development

As Finance Business Partner Capital and Development you will work with other Finance Business Partners and the Group Reporting Manager to delivery the financial report in a timely manner. You will support the development team and be their finance lead overseeing the development programme and ensuring spend is accurately allocated.

What you'll do

You will

Maintain the fixed asset register for components enhancement and its database updating where applicable, depreciation and grant amortisation.
Ensure management accounts, budgets and forecasts are delivered to strict deadlines
Work with budget holders to actively manage risks, draft action plans, review performance and identify potential savings
Present management information packs at directorate, senior management and other service review meetings regularly
Assist in the statutory account production providing quality audit file and producing monthly audit schedules
Prepare VAT returns for the group and registered entities
What you'll need

is a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
is experienced in setting up and maintaining successful partnerships
has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
has a strong finance background with a proven track record in financial and management reporting
has a high attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to deal with large and complex levels of data
