Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to work within our Business Area Wind, to drive the performance management process with the Onshore Operation Management Team in order to be(come) top quartile operator. The portfolio consist of 1.9 GW of installed capacity, as well as 0.9 GW of managed (co-owned or divested) assets.

Qualifications

  • Within the framework of the group accounting rules and the BA/BU planning & control cycle, the Operations finance business partner takes care of organizing, functioning, optimizing and managing business performance management and related reporting processes within the unit.

  • The business partner ensures, through supporting functions (Record2Report,, outsource partners) the quality of the financial business administration, taking into account internal procedures and regulations and external regulations, in order to ensure the correctness, timeliness and completeness of the performance management process.

  • Taking care of benchmarks, budget analyses, investment, revenue and cost (of sales) analyses for management, using financial models and instruments. On this basis advises and supports management to make informed decisions. Advising on establishment of business cases.

  • Provide leadership and coaching on cost control to business and supports to identify cost reduction/margin improvement opportunities

  • Takes on more of a leadership role in coordinating the process, including planning necessary timelines, requirements, and interaction with the management of the department.


  • Your profile / who are you?
  • University degree (or equal) in finance/controlling and 7 years of relevant work experience

  • You drive change and continuous improvements but pay attention to delivery as well. As a result, you don't lose sight on targeted results and have the capability to get across the finish line.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to function well in an international team environment and interface with a broad range of co-workers spread over multiple locations.

  • You are a highly committed person with a high degree of flexibility and self-motivation

  • Able to coach and develop team members.

  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.

    Amsterdam, Hamburg, Berlin, Kolding, Stockholm or Hexham.
