Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join the Finance team at our Headquarters in Liverpool. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will be responsible for assistance to the transactional team to support with the general running of the business. Attributes for success will be ensuring accurate and timely completion of sales ledger processes, purchase ledger processes, guaranteeing all invoices are uploaded on all relevant finance systems ready for payment and supporting the wider team with the month-end processes.,

  • Sales ledger invoicing

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Intercompany reconciliation

  • Assistance with month end close process including posting journals

  • Processing purchase invoices on two systems, ensuring necessary approvals are in place

  • Process payment runs

  • Manage incoming mail including input to Accounts Payable inbox

  • Supplier statement reconciliations

  • Set up new suppliers and VAT checks

  • Closing purchase ledger and running associated reports

  • Other Ad hoc tasks to support the finance department, Ensuring everyone is given the same opportunity and respect they deserve whatever the situation may be.
