Full Job Description

As an FB Stock Controller you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the inventory of food and beverage items across our hotel concessions at Royal London House in Finsbury Square.   • We offer a weekly 40-hour contract, with early starts from 7am and some late finishes to midnight(on stock day)


  • You will be available on Sundays and Mondays and 3 more week days, ideally off on Fridays and Saturdays.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Inventory management, monitor and maintain food and drinks stock through regular counts

  • Submit orders to ensure items availability at all times.

  • Receive goods, checking quality and quantity; store, rotate and organize in compliance with food safety and storage guidelines, guaranteeing FIFO best practices.

  • Identify usage patterns collaborating with the all departments to meet par levels and reduce wastage.

  • Report and highlight any issues(quality and quantity) to management and liaise with suppliers on quality, invoicing and delivery schedule matters.

  • Record and keep documentation, including receipts, transfers and wastage; generate stock levels, usage and costs reports for management review.


  • The food and beverage stock controller plays a crucial role in maintaining efficient operations, minimizing costs, and ensuring that food and beverage items are readily available for customers.

  • 1+ year experience in a similar role, with understanding of inventory management principles.

  • Strong organizational, analytical and IT skills, with practiced use of inventory management systems and MS Office and Excel.

  • Knowledge of HS and FS regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Willingness to get stuck in, supporting hands on the smooth operation of the delivery cycle.
