Full Job Description

We are looking for an energetic, passionate and caring person to light up our children's faces each and every day. You'll require a huge smile, bags of patience, a good sense of humour, and eyes in the back of your head!

Pennthorpe has two self-contained nursery settings - the Honey Pot for our 2-3 year olds and the Beehive for our 3-4 year olds. Each setting offers a magical, playful and inspiring environment, designed with toddlers in mind! Transforming from calm haven to adventure kingdom, multiple times each day, our facilities and resources are constantly evolving and being updated. This, together with our exceptional and dynamic team of dedicated nursery staff, means our nursery children receive incredible teaching and care each day, as well as having a whole lot of fun!

The successful candidate will take on the many varied roles needed to be in tune with each child's needs each day. As well as the skills required to deliver the duties identified below, you will require a warm and loving personality, and the ability to multi-task!

The hours for this role are 8.00am - 4.00pm, term time only plus attendance at all INSET days.

If you share our ethos, are passionate about education and would like to join our friendly and supportive team, please submit an online application form through our website. For any questions, please contact our Head of Recruitment, Chloe Wharton on Recruitment@Pennthorpe.com or call on .

Pennthorpe reserve the right to interview as soon as candidates are available and therefore we recommend applying as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Pennthorpe is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young children. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service. Please note that this will include seeking a reference from two referees who, for shortlisted candidates, will be contacted prior to interview. If you do not wish for your referees to be contacted prior to interview, please ensure that this is stated in the relevant section of your Application Form, with your reasons for this.
