Full Job Description

Are you looking for a new challenge, within an organisation that values you and is making a real difference to the lives of young people?

At TIC+, we reach hundreds of children and young people every year as well as offering support and advice to parents/carers and training for professionals. We work to ensure that every young person has easy, prompt, independent access to appropriate support according to their needs.

A new position has become available within our Operations team for an Events Manager. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for the delivery of an agreed meetings and events programme by establishing and maintaining effective administration systems and coordinating and delivering events.

With that in mind, the ideal candidate will be a great communicator. Whether it's conversation or correspondence, you must be clear, tenacious, accurate.

In return you will enjoy the support of an organisation committed to those we support, our staff and supporters. We will invest in you, your passion and purpose because we want to motivate you, and everyone who works with us, to make a difference to the lives of young people and their families, and the county in which we operate.

You will be a considered individual, who cares about people, and making a difference where it matters most. This role requires an individual who is driven to support TIC+ to achieve its ambitions at pace, today and in the future.

We are all about people at TIC+. We want you to bring your authentic self to work giving you the space to be yourself whether that is creative, outgoing, quiet, courageous, observant or any other attributes you may have.

At TIC+, we welcome and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and are committed to having a workforce that is made up of diverse individuals, skills, experiences and abilities.

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.

Place of Work:

The base for the post is our Head Office in Mitcheldean GL17 0DD. However, regular travel to our offices in Gloucester and across the county of Gloucestershire will be required.

Terms: Permanent, subject to a satisfactory 6 month probationary period.

Post: 37.5 hours per week. Hours include occasional evening and weekend work to accommodate the needs of the charity.

Rate of Pay: Grade D £40,462-£41, 476 FTE Depending on Experience
