Full Job Description

· Event Management

o Coordinate all aspects of initial event planning, including venue selection, contract negotiation, and delivery and collection logistics.

o Conduct and manage thorough venue audits to ensure suitability for each event.

o Collaborate with internal teams, including the Resource Manager to ensure seamless integration of event objectives with overall company goals.

· Budgeting

o Maintain costing sheets and quotes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client and company expectations.

o Monitor project expenditures and manage budget constraints throughout the project lifecycle.

· Partner Liaison

o Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners, including venues, equipment, and logistics.

o Cultivate strong relationships with internal partners to enhance collaboration and ensure smooth event success.

o Negotiate contracts and agreements with partners, ensuring favourable terms for the company and events.

· Event Day Management and Reporting

o Oversee all aspects of event execution, including setup, equipment, and candidate experience.

o Coordinate with onsite venue staff and logistics personnel to ensure smooth operation throughout the event.

o Manage any issues or emergencies that may arise during events, implementing quick and effective solutions.

o Compile post-event reports, including attendance registers and investigate client queries.

· Event Day Support

o Provide on-site support during events, serving as a point of contact for candidates and partners.

o Assist with inquiries, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.

GCSE A-C or Level 2 equivalent Maths and English

- Demonstrable experience in event planning and execution, preferably in a technology-focused environment.

- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focussed approach to service delivery.

- Proficiency in contract negotiation.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Ability and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.

- Creative problem-solving skills and an ability to 'think outside of the box'.

- Knowledge of e-assessment industry trends and best practices is a plus.

    TEAMCo, a sector leading e-assessment company is expanding and seeking a dynamic and highly organised Events Manager to join their team to support their Education-based clients. The Events Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the e-assessment event planning and execution, from venue sourcing, partner liaison, to pre- and post-event logistics. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and a passion for problem solving.
