Enrolled Nurse Pre-Admission Perioperative Services (Casual)

We are seeking Enrolled Nurse's in a casual capacity with relevant experience in patient admissions to help in our Perioperative Nursing Pre-Admission Team.

We would like our applicant to have an interest in contributing to deliver excellent patient care within the framework of the Cabrini Mission and Values.

The Enrolled Nurse will work under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse and is responsible for the provision of patient-centred nursing care.

About you

Along with your commitment to providing a high level of patient centred care, you will have the following :

Relevant Nursing Qualifications and current AHPRA Registration as an Enrolled Nurse

Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)

Victorian Working with Children Check (if applicable)

Effective communication skills both written and verbal

Experience with data collection

Basic computer skills

Cabrini Malvern

The Perioperative Services department consists of 21 operating theatres and procedure rooms catering to a wide range of surgical specialties and procedures.

Our Nursing Pre-Admission Service makes telephone calls to Elective surgical patients prior to their procedure to complete a preoperative nursing assessment.
