Full Job Description

We are excited to announce that we are re-launching our Employability4All Project in Perth & Kinross to support young people aged 15.5-29 to prepare for the world of work and move towards a positive destination. A critical role in our Employability4All Team will be our Employer Liaison Officer (ELO) who will be responsible for building strong relationships with local employers, sourcing and matching young people to suitable work placements, jobs and apprenticeships. We are seeking candidates for a part-time role, 25 hours per week, to drive forward our employer engagement strategy in the region and to develop suitable and sustainable opportunities for young people., This post will be funded by Perth & Kinross Council and, whilst funding is currently only secured until March 2025, we have advertised this post as permanent as we will be seeking continuation funding beyond March next year. You will be home-based but will be expected to travel across the region plus also attend meetings at our office in Dundee as required. We are seeking local candidates, therefore please indicate the area you currently reside in so that we can make effective recruitment and operational decisions.

The successful candidate will come from an Employability or Recruitment Background and will have local knowledge, plus experience in Employer Engagement, Networking, Sourcing Work Placements and Jobs/MAs, Engaging with Stakeholders, Conducting Health and Safety Checks and delivering employability support for young people and/or adults.
