Full Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Executive and working closely with the wider board, you will provide strategic leadership to the trust, and develop and connect plans across the trust to enable the delivery of the overarching organisational strategy. Collaborative working has never been more important, so you will build trusted relationships with partners and communities, ensuring that we realise shared ambitions and progressive transformational change can be achieved. You will also develop the trust's approach to population health management and maximise the commercial reach of Moorfields' offers., As the director of strategy and partnerships, the post holder will be
responsible for leading the strategy and partnership directorate so that the organisation has a clearly articulated strategy, working with the Excellence Delivery Unit to ensure the implementation of the strategy is enabled through the Excellence Portfolio. The portfolio and strategic objectives is enabled through a highly effective marketing and communications function.
The strategy and partnership directorate oversees development of
the trust strategy, supports project delivery through hosting our project
delivery pool, oversees NHS business development and coordinates our
approach to population health. The directorate also provides marketing
and communication support across all business units, as a critical accelerator to implementing the trust's strategy and success.
The directorate is led by the director of strategy and partnerships and works closely with colleagues within the trust and across our partnerships.
The role of the strategy and partnerships directorate is to influence and support the delivery of the strategy, working with teams from across the organisation including the Excellence Delivery Unit (XDU).
Due to the nature of this position, employment is subject to proof of eligibility to work in the UK, completion of a satisfactory DBS disclosure and two references.
