Experience leading Product and Tech teams
Experience in delivering roadmaps and managing technical/non technical requirements
Experienced with leading data and data platform teams
Experienced with and comfortable presenting at C-level/ExCo & Board
Background of banking and financial services will be highly desirable

Technical Skills:

Extensive experience with modern software development methodologies, adapted to the unique challenges and regulations of the banking industry
Strong understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS or Azure, and experience working with microservices architectures in a regulated environment
Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in banking and fintech, such as Java, Python, or .NET
Experience building and deploying iOS and Android mobile applications using native frameworks or cross-platform tools like React Native or Flutter
Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and data streaming platforms like Kafka
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, etc. for CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on compliance and auditability
Familiarity with event-driven architectures and serverless computing in a banking context
Understanding of API design principles and experience building and managing APIs, with a strong emphasis on security and data protection
Deep knowledge of security best practices for banking applications and experience with common security tools, frameworks, and compliance standards like PCI DSS, SOC 2, etc.
Experience with modern front-end web technologies like React, Angular, etc. for delivering omni-channel user experiences while adhering to accessibility and other regulatory requirements

Proven ability to lead data platform/data engineering teams and expertise in technologies like Snowflake, Databricks, etc., with a focus on data governance, privacy, and compliance
Experience with marketing platforms like Adobe Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Braze and analytics tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude for leveraging data to drive personalization and customer engagement, while navigating data usage restrictions in banking

Working with the Product Team accelerate the core deliveries (technical and non technical roadmap items)
Leading and line managing team of highly skilled engineers
Working with the Product Team accelerate the core deliveries from a technical perspective
Managing key relationships with our 3rd party technical vendors
Acting as the thought leader, enabling Product and Technology develop and delivery strategic propositions for the bank
Leading an omni-channel experience for the bank
Managing the risks, reporting and audit considerations as part of leading technology for the channels
Leading innovation and bringing blue sky thinking approach for customer proposition development
