Experience of working in the software industry Understanding of ERP, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Service Management (FSM and ESM)Knowledge and appreciation of the six key industry IFS focuses onUniversity degree with a business or marketing degree (preferred) 7-10 yearsu2019 experience in a B2B marketing environment working with strategic marketing, preferably within the software industry. Project management Budget responsibility Fluent English. Other languages are always a benefit.

This growth has predominantly been driven organically, with some complementary inorganic acquisitions. These acquisitions have added great value for our customers and helped drive the growth of IFS, so with our appetite to invest in this strategy, we are seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing - Mergers & Acquisitions. The role will work closely with the core M&A team to evaluate targets, prepare for the announcement and change management at the time of acquisition, as well as to drive the integration of the acquired business in line with the agreed strategy.The Director of Marketing - Mergers & Acquisitions will play a pivotal role in our company's strategic growth by driving the marketing efforts surrounding our acquisition activities. As the driving force behind these initiatives, you will collaborate closely with the executive team, deal
team, marketing and other key stakeholders at both IFS and the company being acquired to ensure seamless integration and maximize the value of each acquisition.Provide input and help consolidate IFSu2019s M&A strategy and successes into a compelling story for internal and external audiencesSupport and provide analysis to the M&A team throughout the due diligence processes with the right analysis of the target companyu2019s marketing and GTM competences with the context of IFSu2019s own marketing and GTM processes.Manage the communication activities, brand alignment, and change management process around the announcement of the M&A announcementMap out a compelling integration strategy for the respective marketing functions in line with the deal rationale. Collaborate closely with the M&A Post Merger Integration (PMI) manager as part of this over the first 30, 90 and 180 daysProvide enablement, introductions and a platform of education to the employees and stakeholders at
the newly acquired businesses. Vice versa, ensure that the IFS workforce and external stakeholders are well educated and supporting the outcomes needed off the Drive initiates across the marketing organization, and with sister functions, to:Connect and consolidate systems, third-party agreements and processes where appropriateRun demand gen activities that will quickly realize value from the acquisitionBuild brand awareness campaignsGather data and analysis to ensure the value creation is being realized in terms of key marketing measures of brand awareness and demand genBudget responsibility. Plan, forecast and submit marketing related budget requirements around M&A deals
