Full Job Description

  • Manage the execution of our paid marketing campaigns across Meta (and other possible channels) to meet our business goals

  • Using our analytics reports and tools to review marketing performance, measure success, and identify areas for improvement or opportunity

  • Collaborate with the design and content teams to ensure that our marketing campaigns are aligned with our brand messaging and overall marketing strategy

  • Manage the delivery of our content plan through our various social media channels, across both paid and organic, ensuring an omni-channel approach

  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of our social media communication, building up our engagement, and fostering positive interactions

  • A proactive approach to staying up-to-date with emerging marketing trends, tools and best practices to continually optimise our paid marketing efforts for maximum effectiveness

  • Working alongside our Marketing Director to feed into marketing and content plans, as well as support in bigger partnerships and collaborations with our chefs, supermarkets, and brand partners

We are seeking an agile and passionate Digital Marketing Executive to join our team at Plate Up. Reporting into the Marketing Director, you will manage our digital campaigns across various channels, as well as analysing and delivering first-class content. In this fast-paced and exciting role, you will be a driving force to deliver our marketing campaigns across digital channels, and your goal will be to help sell a food shopping and cooking experience that our customers can't live without.

  • Plate Up is an app that simplifies the grocery shopping experience. We work with the recipes of celebrity chefs, as well as develop our own, so that customers can pick recipes they love and then turn them into ingredients in their supermarket basket. By going steps further than recipe boxes, we let our customers price compare their basket and also add any extra household items to round off their weekly shop. Our vision is to change grocery shopping for the next generation of customers.

To be successful in this role, you should have a passion for digital marketing campaigns. You will know the latest trending social media tools and have an idea of what type of content formats and styles could be successful across different channels whilst always adhering to our brand guidelines. You'll be able to analyse data reports and seek opportunities for growth and development.

We see you as someone who makes things happen, sets high standards, leads by example and displays an approach of "We can achieve things that others thought were out of reach". You are calm under periods of high-intensity scaling and the inevitable moments of chaos that come with a start-up environment. You have a passion for innovation and answering real-world customer problems, not just getting clicks.

If you have ever dreamt of building a brand into a global player, then this could be the perfect fit for you!,
  • 3 - 4+ years experience in digital marketing, working for a brand or agency with a proven track record of driving conversions

  • Strong analytical skills to read data and identify areas for improvement or opportunities

  • Experience managing campaigns across the Meta platform and optimising ad creative briefs for performance

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time

  • A creative eye with the ability to know what looks good and what will work for us

  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and respond to customers

  • A customer centric mindset with the ability to listen to customers pain points and learn about their needs

  • Proficient in copywriting and adapting style to suit different channels

  • A can-do positive attitude that can get stuck in to finding solutions

  • An interest in delicious food is nice to have.

  • Working at Plate Up:

You will be part of a small, agile, and motivated team working as one to drive growth. We work in an environment where things move and flex, so a can-do attitude is key. We could be talking tech and data numbers in the morning, nimbly moving to examining creative formats in the afternoon, followed by discussing the latest food trend. We like to act fast and may come up with an idea on Monday and see it delivered by Wednesday. We move at pace while keeping everything else spinning and manage multiple channels or conversations at a time. This role is a remote set-up, so you get the opportunity to work in an environment that suits you day-to-day. We all chat regularly throughout the day, and there will be occasional travel to meet the team and socialise in Leeds and London. We are a remote first company with an office in Leeds.
