Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust is continuing its digital and clinical transformation journey that will change the way in which we deliver care across Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly, and the South West Peninsula. eCare, the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Programme will underpin everything we do for our patients, our people, and our communities.

The Digital Training Deputy Manager will report to the Digital Training Manager. You will be part of a Training Team with approximately 20 staff who will be training, educating and coaching staff on the digital systems across Cornwall. This role will provide managerial resource to the team and help manage and deliver business as usual and eCare training.

Secondments from existing Trust employees into this fixed term role are welcomed and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Applicants should expect to be primarily office based at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Treliske site, Truro but travel to other sites may be necessary.

Unfortunately, due to budgetary constraints we are unable us to support visa sponsorship for this role., The post holder will be a member of the Digital Training Team and will provide training, education and coaching to staff using clinical and application systems used within the Cornwall Health Community:

To oversee and contribute to the creation and improvement of training materials such as eLearning, courses and user guides used to deliver and support flexible training solutions

Manage a small team within the Digital Training Team

Support other members of the integration team in a project support and testing role

Plan, design and organise the training aspects of the clinical, business and project related work

Be responsible for ensuring that daily tasks are completed and issues escalated where appropriate
