Join our team as a Customer Payments Clerk - Level 1 and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth collection of premiums from our valued customers. As a key member of the team, you'll work closely with the Customer Payments Manager to execute various tasks including collection file processing, credit control, and managing customer refunds.

What will I do in the role?

  • Collection Files Processing

  • Customer Refunds

  • Broker Commission Processing

  • Working of the Finance Inbox

  • Credit Control

  • Various Internal Reporting

  • Month End Reporting

  • Internal & External Query handling

  • Any other core daily/monthly task associated to the collection of Customer Payments

  • Involvement in internal Project Meetings

  • Participation in meetings internally and with external partners

  • Deliver coaching as required

  • Filing

  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required

    Intermediate Excel skills

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Disciplined, organised and methodical approach

  • Ability to understand the importance of confidentiality in handling customer personal data

  • Insurance or Financial Service sector experience

  • Knowledge of Sirius, ICE, Sage Pay, PTX, Premium Credit Limited, Magenta and Pay360 systems and associated processes - beneficial

  • Knowledge of Customer Payments systems/processes - beneficial

    Pay: £14,391.00-£15,596.00 per year
