Credit Controller - Manchester, Greater Manchester

As a valued member of our team, you'll collaborate closely with the Finance Manager and wider business to ensure strong financial control and the implementation of robust processes.

The role will be responsible for:

• Liaising with hirers to ensure payments are up to date


• Proactively chasing aged and current debt via email and telephone


• Resolving customer queries and problematic accounts in a timely manner


• Implementation and regular review of processes to drive improved performance


• Liasing with the support team to resolve issues delaying payment


• Daily bank reconciliation and allocation of payments to customer accounts


• Accountability for KPIs associated with this role
  
  Previous experience in credit control is preferred


• Competent using Excel


• Experience implementing new processes to drive change


• Confident speaking to external customers and building strong rapport


• Problem solving mind-set and well organised


• Confident challenging internal stakeholders
