An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Course Leader to join our RCC Construction, Engineering and Service Industry (CESI) team reporting to our Curriculum Manager. The CESI department is a friendly, dedicated and hardworking department with the students at the heart of everything we aim to achieve, making a positive difference and providing a platform to progress into an apprenticeship, work or higher education.

As an Electrical Course Leader with Redcar and Cleveland College you will be responsible for the oversight, planning and delivery of Electrical vocational qualifications with the students Safeguarding and welfare paramount. Attendance and involvement with open-evenings/school events would be an expectation with 'time-in-leu' to be taken. Monitoring of student attendance and progress to be tracked and actioned on the appropriate ETC on-line platform.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher with assessing experience and have current and relevant knowledge in the Electrical Engineering sector with industrial experience.   • Monday-Thursday 08:30 to 17:00 with 1 hour for lunch

  • Friday 08:30 to 16:30 with 1 hour for lunch
