Full Job Description

The exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 consultant psychiatrists to work into the treatment and intervention team in Easington.Easington North is a busy and high functioning CMHT. The majority of referrals come from the Access service however do also receive from Crisis, Primary Care MH Services and Liaison Services., The post holder will be expected to provide appropriate supervision to junior medical staff and non-medical prescribers within the team.

  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.

  • Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.

  • Eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of gaining CCT

  • Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment

  • Approved under S12 OR able to achieve with 3 months of appointment

  • Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research or management.
