Full Job Description

We're now hiring our 2024 cohort to join Dyson's global marketing function, based at our campus in Malmesbury. We're looking for highly motivated, curious and resilient candidates to join the Global Marketing and Insights function at Dyson. In this role you will build a valuable foundation for your future marketing career: become data literate, mining multiple sources of information and deriving powerful, actionable insights to fuel Dyson's growth for the future. You will work with qualitative and quantitative data to truly understand Dyson's owners, shoppers and channels to help inform both short term and long-term strategies.

In this role you will analyse marketing data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities to help Dyson and our business units grow. You will also assist in the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels by providing valuable data and insights to support briefs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and align marketing efforts with business goals.

You will own the development and presentation of a weekly Category Insight Session, uncovering and sharing findings to senior stakeholders across the business and monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing activities to measure effectiveness, delivering post-campaign analysis. Fundamentally you will stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve marketing strategies.

By joining our team you will embark on a rewarding journey to shape the future of marketing through data-literacy and actionable insights.

You will be contributing to the delivery of the next generation of Dyson technology, so you will need to:

  • be working towards or have achieved a Bachelor's degree in any subject area demonstrating your commercial acumen and understanding of marketing and analytical skills - we particularly welcome candidates with management, economics or mathematics degrees.

  • have strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel

  • have excellent communication and presentation abilities.

  • be detail-oriented with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

  • have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • have a passion for marketing and eagerness to learn and grow in the field.

  • have a natural curiosity to always ask "why" in order to understand levers and ways Dyson can continuously improve

  • To be eligible you will need to have no more than two years of relevant work experience post-graduation (Phd students are not eligible for our graduate programme)

  • Prior work experience or internship is required.

Dyson is a global technology enterprise. We solve the problems others choose to ignore, with surprising new inventions that defy convention and simply work better. We're driven by progress and thrive on the challenge of relentless improvement. We're growing fast and our ambition is huge - more categories, more locations and more people.

  • Our scale and rapid growth make Dyson rich in new opportunities. We value new ideas and diverse perspectives, so our people are trusted with real work and responsibility from the outset. You'll be part of a global community of like-minded people that support and learn from each other.

At Dyson we do things differently. We look for the brightest new graduates with the right attitude to thrive in our unique culture. We offer real jobs with real salaries and real prospects. You will have autonomy and freedom to excel and have real impact on our business. You will be pushed forward to become our future leaders. This is why we need self-starters, people who are motivated and drive themselves forward., When James Dyson invented the Ballbarrow he assigned the patent to the company, Kirk-Dyson, and not in his own name. Big mistake. After leaving the company, he had no rights to the invention he had laboured over and they sold his invention to another company. But all was not lost. He learnt some valuable lessons for the future - creativity is a rare commodity and the importance of protecting an idea.

Embark on a transformative journey with our two-year Graduate programme designed for your career success. Our unique experiential journey provides a framework so you can reach your full potential with leadership talks, development workshops and more, all whilst surrounded by industry leading experts. Join us to unlock personal and professional growth and ignite your career potential.
