Commercial Catering Engineer

This role may suit a self employed engineer, someone looking for a part-time/second job or a retired engineer.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced self-employed Commercial Catering Engineer to work within our repairs department repairing our equipment ready for sale both in our Poole warehouse and occasionally on site in local establishments.

Our clients include cafes, restaurants, schools, hotels and many other businesses.

As a Commercial Catering Engineer, your key responsibilities will include service, maintenance, repair and fault finding of gas and electric kitchen equipment. This role is generally based in our Poole warehouse but can be customer facing if visiting repairs off site.

Previous Experience Required

COMCAT 1,3,5 or similar

Full Drivers License (Essential), own vehicle required

Relevant experience working on all commercial catering equipment

£18 - £22 an hour - Freelance, Competitive basic based on experience

• This is a part time/self-employed role that could suit a variety of applicants- we're looking at starting with a 1 day per week


• Hours of work are 9am to 4pm, the day can be flexible


• Closed bank holidays


• Closed between Christmas and New Years
