Are you a marketing leader with a passion for content strategy and creation? Do you have a track record driving forward content excellence within the insurance/ financial services industry? If yes, then come and join our team in London as we search for our next Co-Lead Risk Thought Leader.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our London office.

Aon is in the business of better decisions

As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.

What the day will look like

  • Leading all aspects of RC content strategy, development and delivery - and owning the outputs

  • Proactive engagement with key stakeholders to drive Core content creation forward - including SMEs, senior commercial leaders, Growth and Insights Marketing

  • Developing RC content through the Content Creation team that reflects the specific requirements of the funnel and the buyer journey, with a focus on Demand and Campaigns and close collaboration with Growth Marketing

  • Driving forward content excellence as part of the broader content team, across forms and buyer types

  • Working with the Content leadership team to establish and direct our content strategy

  • Working with the wider team to measure the success of RC content - both from a quantitative and qualitative perspective

  • Building trusted and accountable relationships with business leads and our CMO network

  • Management of members of the Content Creation team - helping them to develop their capabilities and careers and ensuring they are delivering on beat priorities

  • How this opportunity is different

Join our global marketing leadership team, to drive our Aon Story forward and play a key role in delivering on our Aon United Strategy.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Ability to see the big picture and develop content to fulfil what is needed

  • Highly collaborative, particularly when it comes to engagement with our Insights, Growth and Commercial leaders as we stand-up our content strategy.

  • Ability to identify the optimal route to content success - in line with resource limitations - and driving that approach forward.

  • Identifying patterns whereby we can scale and replicate successes, as opposed to creating everything fresh each time.

  • Desire to iterate on our processes, so we can make incremental improvements and achieve successes in phases.

  • Passionate about content at its best and consistently pushing for best practice outputs.

  • Happy to get stuck into content writing as an editor and writer.

  • Team-player - we are only as strong as our collective parts, so it will be critical that our leadership work together and right across the team.

  • Excellent stakeholder management

  • Project management expertise

  • Significant People leadership experience, and leading voice within the leadership team

  • How we support our colleagues

In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce. Plus, our agile, inclusive environment allows you to manage your wellbeing and work/life balance, ensuring you can be your best self at Aon. Furthermore, all colleagues enjoy two "Global Wellbeing Days" each year, encouraging you to take time to focus on yourself. We offer a variety of working style solutions, but we also recognise that flexibility goes beyond just the place of work... and we are all for it. We call this Smart Working!

Our continuous learning culture inspires and equips you to learn, share and grow, helping you achieve your fullest potential. As a result, at Aon, you are more connected, more relevant, and more valued.
