Full Job Description

  • Responsible for preparing work to agreed internal deadlines to a standard that is suitable for a first review

  • Knowledge of designated clients including understanding the key points of the LPA, Fee Agreements and SLA's and early escalation of issues to relevant Client Services Accountant

  • Support the Senior Accountant in the resourcing/capacity management plans for the preparers (PQ's) to meet their allocated client deliverables, with appropriate communication and escalation

  • Assist in the allocation of all tasks / deliverables for assigned clients to preparers in the team

  • Preparation of assigned tasks/client deliverables ensuring consistent quality and timely delivery for review

  • Working towards ACCA professional qualification


  • Tasks:
  • Prepare accounts for complex clients to agreed internal deadlines to a standard acceptable for first review

  • Delivery of quality output in line with agreed SLA

  • Liaise with client on simple client/investor queries if instructed by Accountant

  • Preparation of complex Drawdown and Distribution calculations and notices in accordance with agreed internal deadlines for 1st review

  • ART File set up for new entities

  • Responsible for completion of Partner Transfer Process

  • Prepare complex Investor / Auditor Queries. Review of standard Investor / Auditor Queries when prepared by junior staff.

  • Complete first review on simpler Funds / Management entities

  • Assist Processors in preparation and first review of monthly invoices in accordance with fee agreements and on a timely basis.

  • Adequate level of knowledge on fee agreements for all team Clients and ability to provide assistance to processing administrators when required

    Essential

  • Successfully completed probation period

  • 18 months experience in a professional finance environment

  • Experience of providing services to clients and managing client relationships

  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and interpersonal skills

  • 'Can do' attitude, ability to cope with tight deadlines and working under pressure

  • Strong team ethic


  • Desirable
  • Currently undertaking Professional exams

  • Knowledge of the private equity industry is desirable but not essential

  • Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and data manipulation
