Full Job Description

The opportunity has arisen for a new childcare worker to join our team in our Therapeutic Children's Home in Herne Bay. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Management Team to deliver an effective service in supporting our children on a day to day basis with a range of complex therapeutic needs.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Empathy and compassion.

  • Self-motivated & well organised.

  • Able to work alone and use own initiative.

  • Able to demonstrate some therapeutic understanding.

  • Flexibility to respond to the changing needs of those we support.

  • Available to work on a set rota basis, including sleep in duties (all shifts remain the same, and are predictable for the long term to allow our team to organise their own childcare and needs)., Children's regulations applicants must be over 22 years of age. Please confirm that you of the required age.

    Career Development including NVQ Level 3 and up.

  • Set shifts - work full time but have 4-5 days off per week.
