Children's Hub Officer

Hartlepool is a vibrant and energetic town with growing prospects. As an authority we want to make Hartlepool the best it possibly can be and want dedicated, driven and committed staff to help us achieve that.

To work as part of an integrated Multi Agency Children's Hub alongside key partners, sharing information appropriately to safeguard children, young people and their families.

To offer a first point of contact service for Child and Adult Services focusing on children, young people, families, members of the public and other organisations to identify their needs and support them to access appropriate services as required.

To offer information, advice and guidance to service users in crisis.

To collate, clarify and analyse referral and assessment information in order to determine the priority of response in line with legislation and the department's procedures and guidelines.

This is a busy team so the ability to be flexible and manage and prioritise workloads is essential to the service.
