Childcare Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of children in our care. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow.

Duties:

- Supervise and monitor the safety of children at all times

- Plan, prepare, and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs

- Create a positive and inclusive environment that promotes learning and development

- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress

- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the childcare facility

- Administer first aid or emergency care as needed

- Collaborate with other childcare providers to create a cohesive team environment

Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting

- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a group of children

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Welsh

- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices

- Ability to engage, interact, and communicate effectively with children of different ages

- Valid driver's licence to transport children if required (Desirable but not essential),

• A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
