Chef

The post holder will work as part of a flexible team providing a high-quality catering service.

• Responsible for the planning, organisation and preparation of meals in line with customer requirements


• Develop menus and recipes in line with customer requirements


• Responsible for ensuring allergen information is controlled and displayed at all times.


• Responsibility for ensuring the Food Safety Management System is followed at all times.


• Recording of food temperatures in line with RFM food policy


• Ensure observance of safety regulations and procedures as issued
  
  With Chef level experience in a busy catering environment, you'll be a true team player and share the highest standards in cleanliness, food safety and hygiene. You will have experience of working in a catering or hospitality environment and good interpersonal skills as you will be dealing with members of the public and staff. A catering qualification is desirable although not essential., The post holder will have experience in catering and food preparation, and have Food Hygiene level 2 (minimum). You will have strong communication, interpersonal skills and be able to work on own initiative.
