CCTV SIA Licenced Control Room Operator

Join our team at Phoenix FMS - one of the leading suppliers of Security Systems and Services across the UK. We are currently recruiting for a CCTV SIA Licensed Control Room Operator to work in our Head Office based in South Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne.

You will begin working 16:00 - 04:00 during your training for around 4-8 weeks, this will be working along side another member of the control room. Then you will be working from a rota, which is usually 2-3 months in advance. The shifts will consist of 16:00 - 04:00, 07:00 - 19:00 and 19:00 - 07:00.

07:00 - 19:00 or 19:00 - 07:00 shifts will require to work on your own as well as working as a team. 16:00 - 04:00 shift, you will always be working alongside another team member.

The rota consists of 4 on 4 off pattern (where possible), however overtime will be available to cover holidays/sickness.

You must be able to get to and from work on each shift as some shifts have limited public transport.

Your Duties:

· Monitoring CCTV using the latest software

· Administrative work, using rostering software, answering telephones calls and emails

· Collate, Write and distribute reports

· Keep logs and records up-to date on a daily basis

· Liaise with clients over items relating to CCTV, Alarms, Staffing requirement etc

· A valid SIA CCTV Licence or a valid SIA Licence.

· Have written and verbal skills and you will show a high degree of attention to detail

· Computer literate (office programs)

· Be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise work when faced with several tasks

· Be flexible (This is a 24 hour control room) with Day, Night and Middles shifts available
