Category Buyer - Non Production

We are seeking a talented Category Buyer specialised in non production materials and services to join our dynamic purchasing team at JCB. As a Category Buyer, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute category strategies for non-production procurement, driving cost savings, supplier performance improvement, and overall value creation for the organisation., As a Category Buyer you'll be at the business end of what we do in a highly visible and dynamic role. Your focus will include:

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks within the category.



• Develop comprehensive category strategies for non-production materials and servicesin alignment with organisational objectives and priorities.



• Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and anticipate future needs.
  
  You bring a mixture of inter-personal & analytical skills that allows you successfully to negotiate & influence internal stakeholders and suppliers.


You are results driven and take ownership of projects you are working to achieve success.

You consider different perspectives to comprehensively define business requirements and develop creative strategies to achieve these.

You have a can-do attitude and are resilient & adaptable that is essential in a fast-moving environment.

Proven experience in strategic procurement, with a focus on non-production categories.
