Full Job Description

The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust is a prominent mental health trust which combines patient services, research, and consultancy with a national remit for delivering mental health-related education and training.

If you are a dynamic and creative CAMHS clinician who is looking to develop professionally, and who has a passion for working with children, young people and families in community CAMHS in innovative ways, this is a great opportunity for you. You will join the Clinical Intake Team (CIT) which is a multi-disciplinary team staffed by highly experienced clinicians and part of a large and vibrant child and family department. The CIT team works very closely with the Community CAMHS services and our partner agencies. We are proud to offer a dynamic, innovative, and needs-led service. We strive to be an accessible, responsive, and innovative service with patient care and patient experience at its heart.

You will provide input to Camden CAMHS's intake structure and will be part of this exciting development in our service, aiming to build on our success in creating the high-quality front door service to meet service users' needs. This includes joining our innovative Integrated Front Door service alongside Camden social care. There are other opportunities including service development, Quality Improvement and clinical governance initiatives, service user involvement, audit, and research.

You will be part of the team's various duty rotas, and this will include responding to urgent queries. The post holder will be supervised by a senior clinician and join a growing team discipline depending on the successful applicant's professional body.
