Working as part of our Digital Design team who are responsible for the production of all Digital imagery, UX/UI Design and Photography and Filming activities this role will support the Digital Design Director on all, strategic planning, business alignment, resource allocation and associated reporting activities. In addition this role will ensure alignment with frameworks governance and support the integration of Agile ways of working within Digital Creative.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Responsible for working with the Digital Design leadership team to manage the backlog, prioritisation, and portfolio planning in line with JLR Agile processes (e.g. ABR, QBR, sprints)

  • To align activity with frameworks and governance set in the central Business Planning, IT & Compliance team, as well as with any team-specific business planning projects and governance.

  • Act as an 'interface' for Digital Design for both in Chapter and wider Enterprise 'customers' to improve collaboration/strategic clarity and workflow processes.

  • Provide supporting communications to cross-business stakeholders documenting and minuting meetings.

  • Responsible for documenting resource allocation, holding a single view of capacity, maintaining a clear resourcing process and view of upcoming demands

  • Maintain an up-to-date view of skillsets and capabilities in the Digital Design team and identifying training requirements.

  • Store, manage and share information and support the Digital Design team in providing a single point of contact for all relevant requests taking inputs from the N2 leadership

  • Manage governance, including QBRs and reporting for Digital Design

  • Ensure Digital Design processes are aligned to the Business Planning & Transformation team, and roll up into one functional view

    Relevant experience of business planning and governance within an Agile environment

  • Ability to lead the resolution of business and process issues and co-ordinate across teams to resolve issues

  • Understanding of the Digital Design processes and how these support the development of Vehicle and Brand assets

  • Excellent business acumen with experience in managing programme-level finances

  • Ability to work independently and proactively, taking full ownership and responsibility for own work; fully invested in achieving a successful result.

  • Able to demonstrate capability in Leadership and Management skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to present complex information to all levels within the organisation

  • You view things as a team rather than individual project level, considering the wider team needs.

  • Good influencing skills and experience of collaboration cross functional team working
