Full Job Description

Data underpins every area of our business and the world of media. But with so much data at our fingertips, sometimes it can feel like looking for a needle in a haystack. The Business Intelligence & Data Visualisation team have the exciting challenge of not only finding the needles but also identifying the best ones to analyse.

As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to learn how to meet our client's need for fast, accurate and concise reporting to aid decision making. You will develop the skills to remove the complexity and density of data and provide transformational & actionable insights for our clients.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop data engineering capabilities to apply advanced cleansing, structure & automation to large sets of data.

  • Autonomously design, create and produce accurate campaign performance reports from client specification.

  • Understand the full range of digital performance metrics, their typical applications and limitations; use this knowledge to ensure reports are correctly configured to meet the needs of both internal and external clients.

  • Work closely with Wavemaker client servicing teams to ensure a strong relationship is developed for the open and easy communication of any reporting requirements.

  • Work with the rest of the BI team to help create and develop new solutions/products for our clients.

  • Keep abreast of new trends, industry news/updates and product launches and share with wider team.

  • Develop a core understanding of digital advertising and ad serving technology (e.g. ad serving, vendor ad servers, web analytics, attribution, etc.) and gain accreditation where relevant.

  • Develop a fluent understanding of advanced Excel and become a competent user of the of all visualisation tools available at WM (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Data Studio, Omniscope, etc) and Google Cloud Platform.

  • + Develops broad range of technical skills and knowledge of key systems, platforms, tools and software. Applies technical skills and knowledge to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Data Engineering & Analysis

  • + Analyses large sets of data and organise into an appropriate format to utilize in BI Reporting.
  • Business Intelligence and Visualisation

  • + Organises & visualises data into an appropriate format to uncover and interpret actionable insights to optimise decisions.
  • Innovation & Collaboration

  • + Research, discover, create & develop new BI solutions/products for our clients.
