Full Job Description

You will increase the market share of our onsite services for industry business by identifying new business leads/opportunities and developing successful solutions that meet customers needs, deliver value and provide a positive impact on the environment. Your primary focus will be Total Waste Management (TWM) solutions for industry (Heavy Industry and Industrial Clusters, Light Industry and Manufacturing) whilst also supporting our multi-onsite services tenders and ongoing renewals. This includes:

  • Being responsible for the growth of the total waste management pipeline

  • The project leadership of cross-functional teams to enable the delivery of solutions/projects and targets

  • Secure new business according to personal/sector targets

  • Maximise strike rate by developing winning proposals and prioritising opportunities accordingly

  • Utilising Veolia systems, processes and Salesforce to ensure sales management information is up to date, accurate and enabling new business growth

  • Renewal and expansion of existing TWM contracts (wider scope, additional sites, additional onsite services)


  • You will work closely with a number of internal stakeholders from our Hazardous, Commercial, Organic, Material Sales, Operational, Financial, Legal and HR teams to co-design and put forward winning solutions.

  • Extensive, previous and proven evidence of total waste management experience will be required along with a strong understanding of onsite waste operations and continuous improvement activities.

  • Experience in onsite waste management solutions, as well as a sound understanding of Commercial and Hazardous waste management

  • Ability to nurture and develop relationships with colleagues, clients and other stakeholders.

  • Proven track record lead generation, project management and project qualification.

  • Demonstrable experience of taking a project to contract signature.

  • Motivated to work with existing clients to find extra opportunities and continuous improvement projects.

  • Good commercial awareness including finance and negotiation skills.

  • Use of CRM (preferably Salesforce).
