Full Job Description

  • Providing initial point of contact for service users entering the reception area.

  • Answer and respond to telephone calls.

  • Ensuring defect sheets are completed correctly for all vehicles presented for the Workshop.

  • Creation of job cards using the Tranman system ensuring all data is captured accurately.

  • Liaising with the Taxi Licensing team in relation to bookings, and processing charges.

  • Recording Taxi/MOT arrivals and vehicles for service and repairs.

    Apprentices without Level 1 English and maths will need to achieve this level and take the test for Level 2 English and maths prior to taking the end-point assessment, Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Team working, Multi-tasking, GCSE or equivalent Maths & English (Grade 4/C) Desired, This role requires responsibility, maturity, reliability, accuracy, attention to detail and a professional approach. There is a dress code. The candidate is expected to travel to Middlesbrough each day. The candidate will be expected to have some flexibility to fit within the needs of the business

    Fleet services operates and maintains Middlesbrough Council's fleet operations for all road vehicles, horticultural and plant equipment. We carry out MOT tests for members of the public and inspections of all registered taxis in Middlesbrough
