Mansfield District Council is seeking a capable manager to join our Cultural Services team as Buildings & Technical Manager for Mansfield Palace Theatre and Mansfield Museum.

This role assumes responsibility for managing assets, capital schemes, overseeing all technical and production activities, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong commitment to delivering high-quality events, adept leadership skills, and a dedication to promoting safety. We are seeking a proactive leader who can effectively steer teams towards achieving commercial objectives and maximising value for money, all while upholding rigorous safety standards and fostering secure environments.

Mansfield District Council's Cultural Services has recently attained the status of being part of Arts Council England's National Portfolio (NPO), representing a notable achievement accompanied by many exciting opportunities. The NPO opens avenues for greater environmental sustainability, large-scale events, diverse programming, and pioneering innovative digital commissioning.

Within the Cultural Services management team, this role will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the service to meet current and future ambitions.
