Bar and Waiting Staff

You will be reporting directly into the General Manager. The role will be to provide the highest level of guest service, creating a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the pub, whilst adhering to company and brand standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Forms good relationships quickly with guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable.


• Maintains clear communication with the back of house team to ensure guests' orders are completed promptly and accurately.


• Is confident to make recommendations to guests, including upsell items to maximise the sales potential.


• Performs check-backs within the prescribed time frame after guests have received their food.


• Identifies when a guest is showing signs of being dissatisfied and work within the company policy guidelines to resolve the complaint, notifying the senior management team that they have done so.


• Is vigilant in identifying when a guest is ready for the next part of their service, including clearing dishes, offering to get more drinks etc. Focusses on food delivery, speed of service and quality, in line with brand requirements to ensure a consistent and excellent dining experience for the guest.


• Sells and serves drinks to the required specification.
