University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust has a vacancy available on the Weston Hospital site Integrated Medical Therapy Team., Our Occupational Therapy Band 7 Integrated Medical Therapy Team Lead vacancy covers the medical inpatient wards. The successful candidate will be responsible for jointly leading a team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy Technicians on the Older Persons Therapy Wards. They will be responsible for the everyday running of service delivery, with support from the other Band 7 Integrated Team Leads. You will be demonstrating clinical leadership and expertise on the wards and supporting the integrated team to deliver high quality care., the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. + Significant post graduate experience of multidisciplinary team work, with exposure to working in an NHS environment
+ Strong knowledge and expertise in working in acute adult medical care, older persons acute care, neurological interventions and aspects of orthopaedic experience
+ Experience of working in close collaboration with community services, social care, and voluntary sector organisations in order to deliver safe transition of care from hospital.
+ Experience in service development and in organising and implementing teaching/ training programmes for healthcare professionals and service users.
