Part Time - One academic year

St Joseph's College is renowned for provide excellent sporting opportunity and an ISI Excellent education. This is an exciting opportunity, for an experienced Teacher And coach to join our highly successful, committed and well-established Sport Faculty. The College and its Sports Faculty are embarking on and exciting yet challenging journey to change the Physical Education (PE) and sporting land scape both at St Joseph's College and Nationally.

The department has a long-standing history of success at local, regional and national levels across a range of sports. We are privileged to boast amazing facilities of which are all on site, including sports halls, award winning outdoor pitches, state of the art all weather surface and purpose-built strength and conditioning gym which is accessible to all students, new cricket pavilion, outdoor nets and a purpose-built indoor cricket facility.

St Joseph's College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Athletic Development Placement Coach to support in the delivery of athletic development sessions to St Joseph's College students. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual wishing to pursue a career in strength and conditioning to gain valuable experience in a well renowned sporting college and professional environment.

This is an unpaid opportunity for one academic year, aimed at undergraduate students who require a placement to gain practical experience relating to their university course. Your placement will be overseen and managed by the Head of Athletic Development and Physical Wellbeing. Lunch will be provided by the College on Mondays to Fridays during term time.

Hours of work: 15 -25 hours per week (Monday - Saturday, hours tbc in line with current academic timetable).
