Full Job Description

We are seeking an Associate MEP Project Engineer to develop and oversee technical solutions that will deliver carbon, energy and financial savings for our clients. These solutions will sit within energy performance contracts and will need to be robust enough to meet and exceed the guarantees provide. You will be responsible for liaising with both the business development, delivery and measurement and verification teams throughout the programme and ultimately you will report to the Technical Operations Manager. You will work closely with the customer to develop solutions that satisfy their criteria whilst being both deliverable and produce achievable savings., · Undertake technical surveys on existing buildings and produce proposals/reports that are geared towards the targeted audience (s) as well present your findings to the client and key stakeholders

· Be accountable for the technical aspects of large-scale energy performance programmes

· Conduct regular technical and quality audits on site with the delivery team and associated supply chain members to ensure that the final installations meet the design intent

· You will be responsible for maintaining a close working relationship with the Technical Operations Manager to review, improve and successfully achieve objectives

· You will record, monitor and advise the Technical Operations Manager any deviations in technical approach and the savings guaranteed

· A technical understanding of mainstream energy conservation measures such as Solar PV, Air Source Heat Pumps, LED Lighting upgrades, BMS Optimisation

· Good knowledge and understanding of Measurement and Verification and the principles of IPMVP

· Proven experience of developing and managing technical solutions for the purposes of delivering guaranteed carbon, energy and financial savings for existing buildings

· Ability to produce High Level Appraisals and Investment Grade Proposals with peer support

· Ability to help manage and influence both internal & external stakeholders at all levels

· Excellency in verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience

· Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audience

This is a hybrid position with expectation to travel to customers in London approx. twice each week.
