Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our Business. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for business and team management.

Duties:

- Create new prospects and maintain new customer accounts either domestic & international

- Maintain customer relationships

- Contract Negotiation

- Respond to all customer enquiries and needs directly related to managed accounts

- Proposal and Quotation preparation

-To undertake market research

- Internal company liaison

- Establish strong relationships in order to become a valued technical sales resource to the customer

- Assist in the closing of the order in a profitable manner with acceptable conditions of contract

- To develop a timely process to respond to customer enquiries and ensure all criteria is met within reason

- Run/assist on projects

- Assisting Management over four companies within the group

- HR

- Accounts management

- Contract reviews

- Liaise with external suppliers / contractors

A level of engineering knowledge & applications within the Oil and Gas Industry is desired.

- Experience in a management role, handling customer requirements & preparing quotations, dealing with daily queries and day to day running of the business

-HR related experience, including appraisals, dealing with disciplinaries, sickness etc.

-Experience in business development is desirable.

- High level of personal credibility; confident in personal expertise.

- Ability to communicate well in a business manner.

- Strong negotiation skills.

- High attention to detail.

- Confident & outgoing.
