Full Job Description

  • Assist in the maintenance and care of the golf course

  • Operate landscaping equipment under supervision

  • Learn about turf management, including mowing, irrigation, and fertilisation

  • Participate in the setup of the course for daily play

  • Work closely with the Head Greenkeeper to ensure the course meets its aesthetic and playability standards


    • The training you will be getting

    Partnered with the a recognised college to deliver a 24 month programme, achieving a fully accredited Level 2 Apprenticeship in Golf Greenkeeping. You will have the opportunity to learn alongside specialists in their field whilst offering;
  • Comprehensive on-the-job training delivered onsite

  • Support for further education in greenkeeping and turf management

  • A friendly and supportive team environment

  • Opportunities for career progression within the golf industry

  • Functional Skills in English and maths if required

    Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Team working, Initiative, Non judgemental, Physical fitness, GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above) Desired, No prior experience necessary, but a strong interest in horticulture or sports turf management is a plus. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to perform physical tasks and operate machinery. Commitment to learning and professional development. Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
