Yum Bug are on a mission to change perceptions around the world's most underrated superfood: insects. They turn crickets into sustainable, nutritious and delicious meat ingredients, from mince, to burgers, to expertly crafted small plates at their very own London based restaurant. Crickets are incredibly sustainable, using a fraction of the land, water and feed of traditional livestock, resulting in 10x less CO2e than beef per kg. Their ingredients are packed with 30% protein (over 50% more than beef) as well as other essential micronutrients. Since launching their first of a kind bug-based restaurant in Finsbury Park, they have hit the press, with features on the BBC, Guardian, Telegraph to name a few. The menu is focused around small plates, spanning across a range of cuisines, allowing diners to try multiple dishes and experience the many ways that cricket meat can be incorporated into some of your favourite meals. It's a bold, immersive dining experience
