Agency Children's Support Worker

We are looking for committed residential support workers to join our team in providing care for children and teenagers in our client's residential care homes.,

• Creating and maintaining a positive environment for the children.


• Providing emotional support and encouragement to help children develop self-esteem and confidence.


• Monitoring and managing children's behaviour.


• Developing and implementing daily routines, activities, and programs.


• Communicating children's progress and needs to the appropriate team members.


• Undertaking domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
  
  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• The ability to work well as a part of a team.


• The ability to work under pressure and in challenging situations.


• A positive outlook and the ability to maintain a positive attitude.


• A full UK driving license and access to own vehicle is essential.
  
  £11.44 - £14.25 an hour - Part-time, Temp to perm, Temporary contract, Zero hours contract, Freelance, Please note the role requires candidates to be aged 21and over. This is an industry standard regulation set by Ofsted. They outline that all staff working with children and young people within residential care home settings, must be 4 years older than the oldest child residing in the home.
